Most Used Substances<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The top five substances used by physicians are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Alcohol<\/li>
  2. Marijuana<\/li>
  3. Prescription opiates like hydrocodone<\/li>
  4. Stimulants like Adderrall, amphetamines, or Ritalin<\/li>
  5. Cocaine<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Patterns of Abuse<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The following are patterns of behavior that can indicate a substance abuse issue:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Failing to fulfill obligations at work, school, or home<\/li>
    • Substance use in relation to physically hazardous conditions<\/li>
    • Legal problems in conjunction with substance use<\/li>
